Will deleting & re-installing the Podcast app delete all of the downloaded podcasts & subscriptions as well? After upgrading to the latest Podcast app version...the app immediately minimizes any time I try to access it. I can also double-click & swipe over to it...but it simply minimizes itself again. I'd like to fix it...but don't want to lose the downloaded podcasts & subscriptions if at all possible.

I've had to delete and re-install the Podcasts app many times since version 2.0. I never had it delete any podcasts that were on my iPhone. I'm not sure if it keeps subscriptions if there aren't any podcasts for that subscription in the phone. Since I do all my downloading by synching over USB from my Macbook Pro, I can't answer that part of your question.
I used to sync mine through my PC as well...but found that the podcasts would mysteriously disappear from my IPAD and/or from my PC. The syncing wirelessly via WiFi seemed to never work either. It just got to the point where I handled all of my podcasts on my Ipad alone. As a side note...is it possible to transfer the subscriptions, downloaded podcasts, etc. from my Ipad on to my laptop? It looks like I have it set up to back up my podcast data into the iCloud...so maybe I would at least be able to recover it through there if it was lost.
