Why does aperture not work anymore
All images previously imported to aperture are now unsupported. What happened?

More detail would really help; such as what Mac, what version of OS X, what version of Aperture.

Mavericks requires Aperture 3.5
You need to upgrade Aperture
Aperture 2 has not been supported by Apple anymore since MacOS X 10.6.8. That is the last MacOS X version that is fully compatible with Aperture 2. You should consider to upgrade to Aperture 3.5.1, if you are running Mavericks.
Whebn you upgrade from Aperture 2 to 3, be sure to keep a full backup of your Aperture libraries and the Aperture 2 application, before you open your Aperture library in Aperture 3.
