How do I do this? LG Tv asking me to "select the IP address below in network menu of mobile device. *Devices that support wifi direct can be connected without router." IP address does not come up in my wifi choices or Bluetooth. Both tv and iPad set up on same wifi in my home. What am I missing?

Use the Settings app to find out the IP address assigned to your iPad.
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap on your Wi-Fi network name > note the IP address provided there
Then use the TV remote to select that same IP address where it is displayed on your TV screen.
Ok I have found the IP address and it matches all but the last two digits. I followed all the prompts. Now it wants me to launch a "smart launch" app on iPad but not finding LG or Apple supported app. Any suggestions?
Its not a std part of wifi likely its not supported
