Q: LP 7 song files to LP 9

I'm trying to load some LP 7 songs into LP 9 but instead of opening in L9 it opens my mail program and seems to appear as an attachment to be sent as email..

Could someone tell me how to have it load into LP9 ?

Within Logic, use File:Open

Or Control-click on the Logic project file and choose LP9 from the "Open with" menu

Hi...and thanks alot. That did it...... My files seem to be all over the map once they're in LP9...... but at least they are in there !

Got another similar problem going on...... I have some old samples I used in EXS. I transferred them into a newer computer [Mac Pro] with LP9

When I try to open them...I get this message. Any idea how I can fix this ?
