My phone says I have 1.6 GB messages saved on my phone even when I delete them. Please help .

My friggin phone says i have 1.6 GB of saved messages under usage. Even when i delete all of them. Awhile ago i used iMessage on my mac. Could that have something to do with it?? Suggestions before i throw my phone out of a window????

If you have imessage on your mac and iphone and they are linked then possibly could have something to do with it.

When you send an imessage from your Mac does it show on your phone?
