Is there a way I can create a folder within another folder on mac?

I am trying to create a folder within folder. Ex: Vacation Photos > Vacation Year > Vacation Spots ( not of photos ) but like document files. Better example I am taking an IT class and we have different units 1-10 I would like a folder for each unit under my IT document EX: IT 133 > Unit 1 > Unit 2 etc. Thanks in advance.

Folders on OS X can be nested the same as in any other OS. Just open a folder and create a new folder by selecting New Folder from the File menu. You can also use the keyboard shortcut of Command Shift N to create a new folder.
