Playing spotify on ipad through bluetooth speaker

Hi, I have recently started using spotify through my ipad and I purchased a bluetooth speaker to enhance the experience. However when I connect and go to an album in my playlist it plays the 1st song no problem, then moves onto the second song but doesn't play it and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or have heard this before, please can you help? Thanks Andy

Hey there aplatt89,

It sounds like you are trying to play audio from an app through a bluetooth speaker. If only the app is affected, I would use the following article to help troubleshoot it:

iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

If it is more than just 1 app that is affected, you can use the following article to help troubleshoot the bluetooth connection:

Hi, thanks for these. However I have tried everything and I am having no luck. It is getting worse. A song will play for about 7 seconds then cut off. I did try deezer and the song also cut off midway. I have no problems using the speaker through iTunes at all and I can use spotify through the ipad speaker, with headphones and through a dock connection. I just can't work out what the problem is. It seems it would be the bluetooth connection but like I said I use my itunes with no problem.
