When I try to download photos to my computer it says phone is locked.
Had no problem before.
iPhone 5c, iOS 7.1.1
Apple is sucking at so many little issues that make people lose so much time that I am start wondering an android phone would be the best solution 🙂
What happens when you unlock your iPhone with your passcode?
I have never locked my phone.

If you don't use a passcode (you should be using one for security reasons), then you don't need to lock/unlock it.

Still no go.
Dropbox highjacks phone, looks for fotos, phone asks :trust computer? then dropbox says phone is locked.
Previously I could use windows explorer and open dcim ,look edit or copy any foto.
Now no drive or folder appear.
