Q: command +control +click anywhere on a window shortcut?!?

Hello everybody

 

Excuse me for my bad english but i need your help

 

I have a mountain lion system that I have not installed myself on this professional mac.

A keyboard shortcut "command + control + click" on any place of my window allows me to move it... but I have absolutely no need for that!

 

 

  Unfortunately this global shortcut overrides the priority  of all my applications that also use this keyboard shortcut, for specific features I absolutely need.

  I quit the application "spectacle" that will not launch at startup, is that this actually cancels his action?, if it is involved?

 

 

I also "Mountain tweaks" installed on my computer but it is not open ..

  does anyone see an issue or a clue about this problem?

    Open System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts

     

    You will see yellow signs by items indicating shortcut conflicts. You can find the duplicate and remove.

     

    Note: Command + click on a Finder window will move it. I suspect your Mountain Tweaks might have settings that are conflicting. I don't think the app has to be open for the shortcuts created in tweaks to run.

     

    Try testing in a new User or your Guest User. To see if you have the same issue.

    I have finally find the problem !

    it was not "spectacle" or "mountain tweaks" fault but "afloat" that i had forget to test !

    this programe is not very known but very practice to manage the transparency of windows.

    Glad you found the culprit. Third party app can be very helpful but some can cause problems.
