Q: I can't reinstall my Logic 9 software???

After a few years of enjoyable, proffesional use of my Logic 9 software I needed to rebuild my MacBook Pro OSX by restoring it to it's factory settings. I was able to reinstall all of my other applications and extraneous software successfully but the serial number for my Logic 9 software was not accepted when I tried to install it this time around.

I'm assuming this may be due to the fact it was previously assigned to my computer prior to the rebuild but If anyone has any idea of how I could fix this problem I would be enormously grateful !!!

Is your version of Logic Express 9 an upgrade or the full program?

If it's an upgrade you need to enter the serial number of the full program that you upgraded from, not the upgrade's number. In other words, if you originally bought LE8 and then bought an upgrade to LE9, you have to enter the LE8 serial number when reinstalling LE9.

IF this doesn't resolve your issue, what error message do you get when attempting to enter your serial number?
