Email says password is wrong

When checking my email on my ipad and my iphone it would tell me my password was wrong I checked it by logging into my email thru safari and got in. So I changed my email password and tried again on the iPad and iPhone and it still said invalid so I deleted my email off my ipad and iPhone and then entered again and it still says invalid email. How do I fix this to get my email on my ipad and iphone?
