Some of my artist names are coming up different from the artist names on iTunes on my computer, therefore the artist pictures aren't coming up. Not only do I have this issue, but even though some of these artist names are correct, there is still no cover art for the artist. Please help!

On your iPod does it show a black background with white words stating the name of the artist and/or album name? If so, have your tried connecting to your computer with the cable and re-syncing? You may have to do this a couple of times, if it is doing what I think it is, a couple of re-syncs usually corrects it. Hope this helps. Cheers.
Nope, but would adding the name various artists be the album artist? Since now, for my album, it says unknown artist even though I have the artist information
Frequently a restore is required for your problem:
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
I've just restored my ipod yesterday and that has happened even before my restore. This problem is still persisting even though i have synced to my library countless times
I doubt that itunes is the issue, because a day before i restored my ipod, a message came up saying that itunes had a problem and needed to be redownloaded again. I did that, so itunes shouldnt be the problem.
Did you remove all Apple software and then reinstall the Apple software as the article says? That is different than just reinstall iTunes
