For most websites safari is saying 'can't verify the identity of the website' I can press continue but the web page does not load fully.
It is saying the certificate is not yet valid. How to make it valid?

Open System Preferences > Date & Time > Date & Time
Select: Set date and time automatically
Quit and relaunch Safari.

Another questions I have been trying to do my software update but it says at the ended of it the saves cannot be changed and it was interrupted but have tried it a few times and not touch it whilst it has been trying to update.
Do you know why this is?

Click the Apple () menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac.
The version is noted there.
It's version 10.7.3

There's a workaround for that.
Download and install the v10.7.5 combo > OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac.
That should update your Mac's software to the latest version available for Lion.

Hi I have just tried to do the software update but its asking me for a password to install the software however I dont know the admin passwords because i brought it of someone. Is there anyway of finding out the password or changing them?
No wonder you are having problems. I didn't realize it was a used Mac.
Unless you can contact the seller, there's no way to change the admin password.
That's why Macs are so secure.
