Disk burner or software not found...

Can anyone help me? All of a sudden my iTunes account is not allowing me to burn CD's to disc - I just keep getting the error message 'Disk burner of software not found...'

Can anyone help me resolve this please? I've run a diagnostic and here are the findings:

Hi Braden,

I've tried everything except the removal of the GEAR drivers. This, as I'm sure you're aware, means entering the registry and removing files, which I am highly reluctant to do as this can cause regression issues with peripherals. After reading numerous posts from people on the Apple forums encountering similar issues to the one I’m facing, is there not a less invasive method Apple has devised to rectify this problem?
