Apple MusicYou setup the iMac using your Apple ID.
Your bookmarks sync ok between the MBPro and the iPhone. Then you must be using iCloud.
Since you are using the same Apple ID on both Macs and you must be syncing bookmarks via iCloud, that's going to pose a problem.
On the iMac follow the instructions for Removing an associated device or computer from an Apple ID > iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
Then setup a new Apple ID for the iMac Apple - My Apple ID
Then you can setup parental controls > Configuring Parental Controls

ApplicationsTwo or more users are synchronizing Safari with iCloud while signed in with the same Apple ID. At least one should sign out of iCloud in its preference pane and sign in with a different ID. If you want to keep sharing the same ID, uncheck the box marked Safari in the preference pane.
