Q: streaming to Apple TV is slow

Since updating to iTunes 11.2.1 my ability to stream video from iTunes on my iMac to my Apple TV has disappeared. It was working well before that for > 1 year. I rebooted everything, and ensured that the iMac and the ATV2 were on a 5GHz channel on the Wi-Fi.

Suggestions?

AppleTV 2, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), Just updated to iTunes 11.2.1
