Q: iPhone Memory Slowly evaporates

In the past 2-3 weeks, all of my family members and employees have experienced the exact same problem.  Yet this problem has not surfaced on the Boards. . .

The ios thinks that memory is filling up (the mysterious Other category) until it is full and stops working.

We tried this experiment.  . . 18.1GB available memory reported on the iphone.  Shut it down completely for an hour- turn it back on and there is 17.1GB available!  Incredible.  Everyone has to hard restart once every 2-3 days to free up the phantom memory.

One of my family members also had this occur on his new iPad Air. . .

Everyone has gotten off iCloud since iCloud memory also has diminished to zero for those of us with just an ipad and iphone.  Apple needs to correct this massive problem quickly or they may lose a huge chank of customers.

Interesting that this issue is not more widely discussed in forums and the press.
