Q: superdrive firmware update fails

Every time I try to install this it gives me two messages: that it was successful and that there was a problem and it failed. This is on an iMac with OS X.6.8

Is it this one ? : About SuperDrive Firmware Update 3.0
If so, do the instructions in the additonal information section confirm that it has not been installed ?.
