Any of you from Switezrland bought Apple Computer from Aikon6 in ricardo.ch

Hi all people from Switzerland,

Is there any of you bought an Apple Computer from Aikon6 (aka Alen Dedic) who sell it through online auction ricardo.ch with extremely low price?

I would like to know wheter you get a legal invoice and is it easy to claim the warranty from other Apple reseller or worldwide?

I wrote this post since i bought an Apple computer from Aikon6 (aka Alen Dedic/Apfelrechner) through his colleague in Bern and he only provide me 'private to private invoice' (Privatverkauf) and I am wondering where to claim the warranty if something happen in the future.

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I bought it from one of its distributor in Münsingen (Bern) who buy in large quantity and resell it again.

The distributor can't provide any individual invoice from Aikon6 (aka Alen Dedic) since he has bought with a large quantity, instead he provided a Private Invoice from himself.

He and I already contact Alen Dedic, but he said that it is time consuming to separate the invoice and he seems to forget about this case...

Hi vegahardono

I bought one direct from Aikon6.

First: As long as your serial-number shows guarantee days left (check it trough the Apple support page online) you should have no problems at all.

Second: Its a Mac! They rare have some problems (at least less than other PCs I've ever had - and until now I've never had any with my Mac's).

Third: If you want to be on the safe side, go and buy Apple Care for it.

thanks for your response..

Two weeks ago, I got a battery problem and I went to ArtComputer (Authorized Apple Shop) in Geneva and they refuse to fix it since I don't have any legitimate invoice.

Finally, Apple through AppleCare (90-days telephone support) agree to replace the battery and they do ask about the invoice, and I said that the computer was a gift and I don't have the invoice at the moment...

But I am worrying for the future time after 90-days telephone support (even if I bought AppleCare) since on AppleCare agreement it is written as follow:

'Please keep this certificate and the original proof of purchase for your Apple products and the Agreement as they may be required if there is any question as to the product's eligibility for service under the Agreement.'
