Is it worth buying an iPod Touch (5th gen.)right now?

Since a major upgrade to the ipod touch was added back in 2012 , so is there any sign of a new ipod touch or else i should stick with the 5th gen.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM), iOS 7.1.1

If yo need one now the 5G is really your only choice

There was about one year between the 1G and 2G

One year the 2G and 3G

and one year between the 3G and 4G

There was two years in between the 4G and 5G

This Sept/Oct would be two years from the 5G

Hey Shreyash, Really have nothing more to add here, all iPod touch models were released in the fall of 2007, 2008, 2009, 1010 and 2012, as Illaass has stated. And as Illaass has stated if you really need one, the latest model, so far, is the iPod 5. It is not known if Apple will continue the current release trend, BUT, I have started to see apps, update info etc. stating things like, compatible with iPod 5 or later model. Maybe I just never noticed the "or later model" before, but I think it's something new, maybe a hint of things to come, but I could be wrong. Long store short, if you can, sit it out through the fall and see if the next best thing is released. Hope this helps, Cheers.
