I have a PowerBook G4 but I like to install 10.8.5 am I able to do that and how much would it cost

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

A PowerPC G4 or G5 Mac can't be upgraded past 10.5.8. Getting there from 10.4.11 or earlier is done by purchasing a retail Mac OS X 10.5 DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay and then running the 10.5.8 combo updater.

once my PowerBook G4 is at 10.5.8 Can't bye a up date for it cause I wanted my PowerBook G4 to run on the same OS X as the MacBook

As stated above, it can't be upgraded past 10.5.8.
