facebook app session expired?

i logged out of my facebook app and it let me log back in. but everytime i go do something else on my phone and i go back in i get an error message that says "session expired please log in again" and it logs me out. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and deactivating a reactivating my account and it still continues to log me out.

iPhone 5, iOS 7

That would be an issue with the facebook app. Suggest you email the app developer or look at their support site.

My wife had this issue as well. I think it was related to logging in with her email id rather than her Facebook user name. Here is how we solved it. I'm not sure which step resolved the issue, I just know that it went away!

Find out your Facebook user name. Go to FB > Settings > General > Username. It will be in bold.
Delete and reinstall the app.
When you log in, use the username and your password rather than your email id.

That should do it!
