Q: Why can't you adjust photos to the size you want for your wallpaper like previous iOS's

I'm frustrated with putting in my wallpaper in my iPad, in previous versions of iOS it was easy to adjust and place how you wanted the photo and now you can't get to a smaller size to fit your picture and im resulted to use the ones given with the iPad. I don't know how to change it but I don't think you can I just don't know, it will help if I have answers on this

Do you currently have the parallax effect turned 'on' (Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion 'off') ? If you do then you will need to increase the resolution of your photos if you don't want them zommed in

    From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5595 :

When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:

    • Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
    • When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.

If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.

There are several apps in the App Store that can help with creating a file for use as wall paper. Search the App Store for wallpaper apps. Two I'm familiar with are Wallax and Wallpaper Fix.
