Macbook Pro model A1278 Vs A1425

I just purchased a MacBook Pro and I am looking for a cover to buy for it but

I am not seeing my model A1278! It says that model is from 2008 and the newest model is A1425 is this true?!?

The A1278 designator is for the older 13" MacBook Pro's from 2008 thru Mid 2012.

The A1425 designator is the Late 2012 thru Early 2013 13" MacBook Pro's.

The Late 2013 13" MacBook Pro has a desinator of A1502.
