Q: Start up error after 10.9.3 update

Hi Folks,

 

I've had my iMac for a few years now and have had absolutely no problems having experienced many years of Microsoft misery.

 

However, I installed OS X 10.9.3 (13D65) yesterday evening and have been having start up problems since.  See log file error report below.

 

During start up, the normal white-ish loading screen is suddenly replaced with a load of code error messages in the top left which stay for about 2 seconds.  I then get a message along the lines of "System experienced an error during start up.  Press any key or wait a few seconds to continue" after which the system starts normally except for the error report which I sent to apple copied below.

 

Any ideas from anyone please?
