Itunes stopped erasing played episodes

After the newest update Itunes does not delete episodes that have been played or marked as played. I checked the settings and found that now they are supposed to be deleted 24 hours after having been played, but this will not happen anyway.

Also; I found that there is some missing piece of settings that might have to do something with this issue. Be fore, when right-clicking on the podcast there was an opton that went something like: "allow played being deleted" and "do not allow played being deleted". This had to be set for each podcast once, and then the automatic deletion would work. However; now this options are missing.

I hope someone can help, because this automated erasing feature for podcast episodes was the most important thing for me with using iTunes.
