trackpad locks up after 10.9.3 update

When running 10.9.3 I have noticed that sometimes the trackpad gets erratic. Especially swiping three fingers left&right to get to another desktop tends to lock up the trackpad.

I have renewed the batteries. I have repaired. It sometimes happens again. Do others see this behaviour?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9), Core i7, 27"
