Mine was a follow up answer about contents of the Finder/Trash folder window.
You may be right, that OP was referring to the Trash icon in the Dock itself.
In that case, my answer was a bit unclear.

I cannot find it?
It is at the end of your DOCK. Bring the pointer to the edge of the desktop where you have your DOCK.
Most users will have the DOCK at the bottom of the desktop.
