No HDMI output on Apple TV

I have had my ATV for 18 months. It has always worked on my wifi and my samsung LCD screen via HDMI.

A couple months ago it stopped showing any picture on the screen. The TV just says no signal.

My ATV has power, and the LED flashes when i press the remote.

When i plug in a LAN cable, and i check my DHCP server, i can see that the ATV gets an IP address on my network. So the device is on, and i can ping it.

I tried running a restore on iTunes using a micro USB cable. The restore showed successful, but did not fix the issue.

I took the ATV to my workplace where we have more ATVs and my device does not show any picture. I am certain that the screens in the office work as the other ATVs there work fine.

Sorry, i was not finished my initial post.

I have also tried changing HDMI cables with ones that are working on other ATVs.

When i look on my iphone and mac, i see that Airplay is available to an ATV, so i know that the ATV is on, and is on the network. When i send my screen of the phone or mac to airplay it shows on the phone and mac that its working, but again there is no image on the tv screen.

i have also tried holding 2 buttons on the apple tv remote, to make it cycle through all the resolutions on HDMI but this also did not work.

So in summary, my device has power, it has network, i can ping it. But no matter what i try i cant get a picture.

Is it possible that my device has a broken graphics port?- and should be put in the trash?
