Hi,
I have installed the latest version of the MP480 driver on Mavericks and the option to print duplex is disable I have tried everything. There is not Duplex menu installed. How can I fix this? because my printer is duplex capable.

Try to install the Canon printer drivers found here -> http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1742.
You should see Duplex printing under the Duplex Printing & Margin pop-up menu:

Once you have the correct Drivers on your Mac, getting them active for the Print queue for that Printer is not very intuitive.
The least complicated way is to use the Add-a-Printer dialog, remove [-] the old Print Queue, and re-add [+] it back. This should cause it to pick up the new Driver when the new Print Queue is created.

I see that you have "Margin" whereas I have "Duplex Printing & Margin" - are you sure that your printer has duplex printing? If so, you should Reset the Printing System and, as Grant suggests, add the printer anew. If that doesn't help, you should contact Canon's support staff - they've always been there when needed!

If you probe your Print Queue to check the Driver version, do you see the same version as Mila posted above?
