When i try to send a message with a file attached(just a normal word document I have written my self) on facebook it wont let me because it says the file contains a virus? Does my computer have a virus?Virus

The only possibility is that you've gotten a Word macro virus in your Microsoft Office settings. That's the only malware that could potentially be in a Word document. You could try scanning the document with ClamXav. If the document comes up clean - which I think is the most likely case - then this is a false positive on Facebook's part. I've seen similar complaints recently.
Facebook just started a new partnership with F-Secure and TrendMicro Anti-Malware software companies and it would appear they are having strartup difficulties.
Yes, i did the ClamVax and nothing turned up! So guess its facebook, awfully annoying for sure! Anyways, thanks for your reply! 😀
Please let Facebook know about it. I think it's a good idea, but they need it to work properly.
