mail won't send to multiple addresses

I drop in a group from my address book and mail says I can't send mail from my account - to try a different account. I send mail from this account all the time, but for some reason when I use multiple addresses (15) it won't.

For some reason, Mail prevents sending to multiple addresses (if they're in a group) if you've indicated in "preferences" (under "composing") that you do not want addressees' names to be shown in the "to" field. The only way to send to a group is to allow the names to be shown.

I, and others, have mentioned this ever since Mail arrived. Apple has not yet fixed the bug.

This royally bites! I had this same problem before, and was told that by upgrading to Mail 2, (Tiger), it would fix this!

I sure as heck don't want all the names listed, that is very unprofessional.
Will it work if the addresses are "shown", but are in the BCC window?
