Hi, not sure whatthe OS9/Classic question is, but...

TenFourFox is the most up to date browser for our PPCs, they even have G4 & G5 optimized versions...

SeaMonkey seems pretty fast also, with many options...

TenFourFox (see above floodgap.com/ link) is one of a few to support

OS X Tiger 10.4.11 and OS X Leopard 10.5.8. If you seek a working

alternative that runs free yet is shareware, check iCab Internet Browser.

For iCab suited to Tiger 10.4, see v 4.9 (for 32-bit processor, G4/G5)

    •iCab - Downloads:

    http://www.icab.de/dl.php

SeaMonkey for PowerPC: a limit on system support has been raised

to Leopard 10.5 and no longer supports Tiger 10.4.11. This is not the

same SeaMonkey as linked in the above post, this is for PPC and the

other site seamonkey-project above is for Intel-based Mac w/ 10.6.

    •SeaMonkey - PPC - for G4/G5 Macs running Leopard 10.5.8:

    http://code.google.com/p/seamonkey-ppc/ - information

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/seamonkey-for-ppc/ - download

You can look back into the SeaMonkey for PPC archives to get one

that will work in older G4 with Tiger 10.4.11 running on it, just that

there will be less security in the code used in that version. Some

Leopard 10.5.8 users also prefer an old v. 2.13 SeaMonkey-for-

PPC as those aren't so processor heavy, lag as much, & are OK.

iCab will use whatever flash plugin or patched Adobe flash you have,

but TenFourFox runs with flash disabled by default. Old v. SeaMonkey

runs whatever flash you may have, too. Other older browsers are not

supported & see no update; and are further limited online.

    Good luck & happy computing!
