My iPod Shuffle (3rd gen) isn't responding to my Apple headphones!

When I got my iPod Shuffle (3rd gen), it came with headphones. Since then I've been using these headphones for all my Apple products, so sometimes I use the remote earphone controls to turn up and down the volume, pause songs, play songs, play next songs, and play previous songs. Now, this doesn't work anymore because my iPod Shuffle (3rd gen) doesn't respond to my remote earphone control's commands. Why does this happen? My iPod Shuffle (3rd gen) is updated to the latest version too.

iPod shuffle, Other OS

Hello pagtaljav1,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

What did you try that didn't work? Have you restored the iPod as new and the remote is still not responding? Due to the nature of your issue or question you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources - https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action

Take care,

Alex H.
