The printer that you are trying to use is AirPrint-enabled, and it's connected to the same wifi network as your iPad ? The printers that support AirPrint, and some troubleshooting for it, are on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
If your printer doesn't support AirPrint then you could see of the printer manufacturer has their own app in your country's app store which supports your printer, or try one of the third-party printer apps e.g. PrintCentral Pro, Print n Share etc.
