Will my Otterbox defender work with my ZAGG screen protector?

When I got my iPhone 5S, I purchased a standard ZAGG screen protector and a regular case. Nothing fancy but I while browsing eBay one afternoon I saw a new Otterbox Defender for half price so I purchased it. It's due in the mail tomorrow but I was wondering if I needed to take my ZAGG screen protector off before I put on the new Otterbox in case it will somehow interfere with the phone's touch screen.
