Q: Need Cables ID'd Please

Hello Apple Community!

I'm looking for a little help identifying these cables please.  I found them in the back of my drawer in my computer desk, and I can't for the life of me remember what in the world they are/were used for.

One is a two-ended (male/male) cable the size of an iPhone headphone jack on each side.  The second is HDMI on one end, and what looks like a monitor (?) input on the other end. Photos attached.

Thank you!

The upper cable is a standard (typically 2-conductor + shield) stereo audio cable with mini-phone plugs at each end, used for input or output connections.  The video adapter enables connection of a computer with a DVI (display) port to a flat-screen TV or display having an HDMI port.
