"No configured airport base stations have been found."

Airport Utility 6.3.2 cannot find a working Airport Express that still delivers internet connection. The former name and security passcode for the airport express are no longer associated with the Airport Express. The WiFi just picks it up as an unsecured "Airport Express ******". I have tried to configure it with the Airport Utility but the Utility cannot find any base stations. Any suggestions as to how to re-install a security passcode for this Airport Express? Thanks in advance.

What is the model number of the AirPort Express?

IF you are not sure, look on the side or bottom of the device. Hard to see....you may need a magnifying glass.....starts with an "A" followed by 4 numbers.

Unfortunately, the A1084 is an 8+ year old version that the Mavericks operating system does not support.

If you have....or can borrow for a few minutes.....another Mac running the Leopard or Snow Leopard operating system, or a PC with AirPort Utility installed, you can use that devcie to administer the older AirPort model.
