Apple Wireless Keyboard Green Light Keeps Flashing - iPad Mini

Last September I got myself the iPad Mini and the Apple Wireless Keyboard with it. Up until now it worked fine together, until today the keyboard's LED will keep flashing but iPad will NOT find keyboard. The iPad keeps saying "Searching..." and that's it.

The keyboard itself does NOT switch off anymore. The only way to turn it off is to remove the batteries. Putting them back in and turning the keyboard back on will bring me back to the same problem.

The keyboard has never been dropped, nor has anything been spilt on it. In fact, it's in pristine condition. I do not have a Mac so I can't perform the PRAM reset or any other troubleshooting suggestions. This has really annoyed the **** out of me as I use this keyboard quite regularly and it's pretty much brand new, to me at least.
