I have a new MacBook air and I am trying to take the books from my hard drive and load them to itunes so that I can sync them to my ipad.
I have been struggling with this for days. All the books are Kindle, and I have the Kindle app. This is worse than SAP.

Separate iBooks app on Mavericks allows iBooks to be read and takes management of iBooks away from iTunes. http://www.apple.com/ibooks/ That said, if this is all to do with Kindle books that may have nothing to do with Apple software (I have no idea but I wouldn't expect Apple to support Kindle in its own applications).
where is the books tab on iTunes?
