I'm getting this message on my I-pad 2 while using my Uverse app
"Not allowed to play movie, an external display is detected (Q1544).
There is no problem using the Netflix app.
iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1, iPad is connected to TV
Does anyone have an answer for this????
There's nothing to answer.
The uverse app does not allow output to a tv.
Watch the movie on the iPad screen.
Ok, so if anyone other than you has a work around, then please share it.
There isn't a workaround, if you get that message then the provider has blocked using Airplay or an external monitor. Contact Uverse and ask them to remove the block.
