I have a 60GB iPod. I have an iH5 iHome. It worked fine for a few months but now when I put my iPod in the dock it says "AUX" in the display area and it won't play. I can't wake up to the iPod either anymore. The iPod won't even play on the iH5 now. What should I do?
Yes, it works normally when I am not connected to iHome at my house. I did contact Red Envelope (where I got it) and they sent me a new one. Then I contacted ihomeaudio.com and they told me that the radio was most likely defective so I mailed the iHome back to Red Envelope and they shipped me a new one. I opened it up tonight, put my iPod in and it immediately said "AUX" again and won't play. I don't know what to do. I am frustrated.
I found this article online where the same problem has happened to some other people and I also read some bad reviews on Amazon.com. I think I'm going to ship this thing back and be done with it.
I have recently got an ihome. My ipod worked fine with it at first. Now it will play while in the ihome but I can't control it and will continue to play after I turn of the ihome. I exchanged the ihome thinking that was the problem but with the same results. Any ideas???
