I wonder if Apple realise that for every iBook uploaded there is also a significant investment of Apple hardware in the background and when an iBook takes any longer then a week from submission to online store this is a trigger point that Apple iTunes may need to understand that our time is also money.
In 2014 a week can be a lifetime when it comes to content providers so for all the senior project managers at iTunes.
Content providers are the reason why Apple products are sold, so when we choose to submit an iBook perhaps make it a forget to speed up your process of submission.
The maximum time to be no longer than 7 days especially when tickets are responded to within 35 minutes from the author.
If your work load has increased then look at ways to increase the response time without robotic answers.
