Garageband:The lesson store is temporarily unavailable.Why?

It happens every time I try to access lesson store... 😟

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

Which country are you in? I just tried, the German lesson store is available.

And which GarageBand version are you using? In the new GarageBand 10.0 the lesson store is only available after the in-app purchase.

The country in the Lesson Store window needs to be set to the country of your AppleID billing address and the credit card needs to be valid in that country. Are you in the country, where your credit card is valid?

You can change the country for the store in the lower right corner of the Lesson store window:

Hi,thanks for the reply.It seems I need to purchase the content and I just did.The content is now downloading,I hope that I will be able to see it once it's done.It's Garageband 10.0.2 that I'm using,btw...

Actually when it shows a message like that ,there's just no way to change the country for the store like you do...

You should be able to select the country, after you installed the in-app purchase and the Lesson Store becomes activated.

Well,I have just installed the content,but still the lesson store is not available.I'm in China.I don't know what to do now...😟

Do you permanently live in China? Or are you just visiting?

If you bought the in-app purchase in a different country then GarageBand it will not work together. Did you use the same Apple ID?

Anyway, if you look at my list of countries, there is no Lesson Store listed for China - only Hong Kong. Then you will not be able to download lessons while in China. Could you ask this question in the Chinese Apple Support Communities?

Well,I live here...

And oh well,after million times of trying,I happened to click that Please try again later msg,and guess what ?The page showed up! I think I'm about to cry ...Even though,when I go to the other tabs,and then go back to the Lesson Store,it still says The Lesson Store is temporarily unavailable,so I have to click that "Please try again later"to access the lesson store !

Then I quit garageband and reopened it ,the Lesson Store works fine now.I can go to Guitar,Piano and Artist Lessons...But I still need to download the lessons...I'm wondering what that 14Gb of content I installed was all about ...

PS.I posted the same question in the Chinese Apple Support Communities before I succeeded,and I found some similar posts where no one could solve this problem .

Before I posted this quesion here,I had contacted the technical support of Apple,and they said it was my connection problem .

I had the same problem. But i just sign in in garage band with mi apple id and then i could download the lessons.

I have the same problem with "The Lesson Store is temporally unavailable". I have the same version of Garageband, v. 5.1 Garageband '09, on two computers. On my older Macbook os 10.8.5, with this version on Garageband, I get that error message when I try to download free lessons. On my newer Macbook Air, os 10.11.3, and Garageband v. 5.1 Garageband '09, I do not get that error message but I also do not have the room to download the free exercises. I would like to use the free lessons on my older Macbook.
