How to reset view options desktop?
I can change the view options of my desktop. Changing the icon/grid sizes and such. But how do I reset it all to its default setting?
OS X Mavericks (10.9)
Move the com.apple.finder.plist file to the Desktop, OPTION-click the Finder's Dock icon, and select RELAUNCH. Now, check the view options. It should have reverted to the default settings. If so, make a screenshot of that window, delete the new plist file, replace the moved one, and relaunch the Finder. Now, reset the view options to the default settings.
