my macbook pro (2011) shows a prompt saying that no camera is connected when I try to use facetime. This started when I updated to mavericks.

When I try to use FaceTime I keep getting a prompt that says, "No Camera Available. To use FaceTime, connect a camera." This started when I upgraded to Mavericks. I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro 13" and I never had any problem with FaceTime, IMovie, or PhotoBooth before the upgrade. Can anyone help me out?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), Late 2011 model
