Q: sync iTunes

Apple had been so friendly to me for more than a year now I am just not satisfied with it. I was asked to sync itunes now I had lost all my data because the chat has been to stand by and on my iphone the data is lost and iPhone got frozen. I dont know what to do now. Apple is not bothered about it when I chatted back. Again it came to standby and moved to another advice and now both chat window and my iphone is frozen. Even in second chat the person is not feeling sorry about it. He asked me to wait. i never want to start from the beginning or wait for hours. I should have not bought an iphone at all. I never know what to do now. How can I bring back the frozen iPhone.

In both of your steps it says to contact apple. I cannot contact again. Two times I had been placed on to stand by. I cannot wait for hours for that person to read my complaint. No other way?

iphone getting frozen is not my fault. It is only because of apple who asked me sync and leaving the chat to stand by after I am on the way.

The article you sent is irrelevent and I had never done any thing that is there in the article. I had not done any unathorized modification to ios. Only mistake I had done is contact support and that person left the chat in half way.

yes I had pressed the sleep/ wake button and it restarted but still it is frozen.

The only reason anyone would still be using iOS 6.1.2 is because it's the favorite of jailbrakers

Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

If you can't update or restore your iOS device

That's odd, your profile states iOS 6.1.2 and you created that profile Feb, 2014 - long after iOS 7 was released (and long long, after iOS 6.1.4)...

Restore the phone as described in the first support article. If unable to restore, put it in recovery mode first as described in the second article.

If restoring to factory setting doesn't help, your phone had a hardware problem or was jailbroken in the past.

I had not updated the software in the discussion page for a long period. I bought it only before 6 months.The software that I am using is ios 7.1.1 andit has not been jailbreaked in past.

Huh? You joined this forum Feb. 2, 2014, less than 4 months ago, which is when you created your own profile stating iOS 6.1.2. iOS 6.1.2 has been obsolete for over a year.

Regardless, restore the device, which is your only hope of fixing it.
