Incorrect country on my iPhone AppleID

Hi there,

I have a US Apple Store account. I am currently in Hong Kong, and since my old iPhone died, I have set up a replacement (old) iPhone (using latest ios 7.1.1).

I entered my appleID, and have just tried to download an application I already own (Free: Google Hangouts).

The App Store says I own it, but not in Hong Kong, and I need to switch to the US Store.

When I go to change my store, I get the "You have at least one incomplete pass. Passes must be completed before you can change stores" message.

Now, I never watch any programmes on my iPhone, and in fact, I'm not even changing my store - for some reason, my iPhone has connected me to the wrong store.

How do I fix this?

Help!

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.1

Hi wjosten,

Thanks for the reply.

I have seen this post, and it doesn't help. Yes, I do have season passes for programs I watch on my iPad. But my iPad is uses the same AppleID in the US Store. For some reason, my iPhone has decided to glue itself to the Hong Kong store.

So I'm actually not trying to change the AppleID Store, I'm just wanting my stupid iPhone to figure out that it should be on the US Store, not the Hong Kong store.

Any ideas?
