USB Flash Drive causes my Wireless Mouse to stop functioning

I just purchased a 32GB Sandisk USB 3.0 Flash Drive. When I plug it into the back of my mac mini it causes my wireless mouse (Logitech M570) to stop functioning and makes it act all spuratic. But, I can plug both those same flash drive and my wireless mouse into the apple keyboard of my iMac at work and they work fine no issues. It only happens when I plug them both into the back ports on my mac mini. So as my Mac Mini is not even 6 months old, think I should take it into an Apple store? Im running the most recent up to date OS on my mini.

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
