Q: Runned a update for maverick - now stuck at grey screen

As the title suggest, ive runned a update on my Mac and restarted it- now its stuck at the grey screen with Apple logo

Tried reset pram, disk repair, safe boot - nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? According to disk repair nothing is wrong with the HD.

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9)
